About Us

Eligreen Agric & Agribusiness Hub is a Ghana-based initiative founded by Hon. Sophia Karen Edem Ackuaku, dedicated to empowering women and youth in agriculture. The hub seeks to transform agriculture into a viable and attractive source of employment and income, especially for young people and women across the country.

We serve as a dynamic platform for agribusiness empowerment—providing training, access to funding, technology, and strategic networking. Our goal is to deliver innovative solutions that drive inclusive growth throughout Ghana’s agricultural value chain.

Our Mission

  • To support farmers and agribusinesses by enhancing productivity, product quality, and market access—from production to processing and distribution.

  • To strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of Ghana’s agriculture sector through innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.

Our Vision

To create a thriving, modern agriculture sector in Ghana—where empowered stakeholders, especially women and youth, produce high-quality goods for both local and global markets.

Our Objectives

  • Boost incomes and improve livelihoods for smallholder farmers through practical training and access to new markets.

  • Promote sustainable practices and reduce post-harvest losses through efficient supply chain systems.

  • Advocate for government policies that prioritize agribusiness development and innovation.

  • Provide startup support, funding opportunities, and platforms to showcase agri-entrepreneurs.

Milestones

Eligreen officially launched on May 27, 2025, with the Eligreen Agric & Agribusiness Hub Expo at Wesley Towers in Accra. Following its success, we are gearing up for our flagship event—a 2–3 day summit at the Accra International Conference Center from October 13–15, 2025. The summit will feature exhibitions, expert panels, startup showcases, and partnership-building opportunities aimed at accelerating agribusiness innovation in Ghana.
